The course aims at introducine the educational issue, its language and categories in relation to the actual scientific debate. Presentation of some of the main authors in the history of education, from classic age to the past century, with particular attention to modern and contemporary age. Investigation of some major figures which have dedicated to peace education during 1800 and 1900.
Analysis and investigation of educational semantics focused on: short conceptual preliminaries in order to characterize the educational discourse; some key-words in educational alphabet useful to acquire perspectives in relation to education. Elements of Comenio’s and Rousseau’s education but also other 1900’s authors representing scientific” education and humanistic” psycho-education. Education to peace in Ruskin, Tolstoj, Gandhi, Montessori, Capitini, Milani.
Oral discussion, partly replaceable with practical participation to a seminary (only for attendant students).
